How we started out...
CMSI was founded in September 2006, becoming incorporated on May 7, 2007.
In July 2007 CMSI attained the recognition of ISO 9001:2000 Registration and have maintained our registration through obtaining the current recognition of 9001:2015. This backs our commitment to our customers by following a documented and structured quality management system with the focus on ensuring Customer satisfaction as the goal of our corporation.
The team of individuals is highly qualified and has over 30 year's current experience in this line of work and over 50 years in management experience to international standards.
Team Experience
Our team consists of qualified lead auditors in ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, OHSAS 18001:2007, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 50001:2018, ISO/TS 16949:2016 and ISO 17025. We have extensive knowledge of management systems, with over 20 years of training experience. As of 2018 our team members are also qualified verifiers for the Towards Sustainable Mining program from the Mining Association of Canada.
CMSI has extensive world-wide experience in performing 3rd party assessments and training programs to International Standards. We successfully support corporations with meeting corporate growth, risk reduction and promote confidence to stakeholders involved.
The team has performed over 3200 audits in the automotive, commercial, environmental, laboratory and health & safety sectors. This allows CMSI an extensive understanding of multiple industries and their application to risk reduction, cost improvements, shareholder value and stakeholder confidence.
Our team of auditors have also conducted over 500 legal compliance audits for Health, Safety and Environmental Management Systems in various sectors such as automotive, foundries, construction, and power generation.
